Gender differences significantly impact individuals' career choices, opportunities, and counseling needs. This paper examines gender in counseling, focusing on influencing factors coping strategies. The study draws Social Role Theory Schema as theoretical frameworks to understand the complex interplay between development. Through literature review interviews, qualitative data is collected explore of experiences outcomes. findings highlight influence societal expectations, family influences, bias, discrimination choices. Gender-specific challenges, such stereotype threat, confidence issues, work-life balance concerns, are identified. Coping strategies, including mentorship, empowerment training, supportive networks, discussed valuable interventions counseling. recommends practical strategies promote equality These include promoting awareness education about biases, creating work environments that value diversity, integrating gender-sensitive approaches practice. By recognizing addressing unique needs individuals different genders, more inclusive equitable can be created, leading positive outcomes contributing a diverse thriving workforce.
